Hello. We are flower farmer/florists and mother and daughter team Penny and Laura.

We are lucky to be live and work in a beautiful part of the Staffordshire countryside (on the border of Derbyshire) and attached to an early 17th century timber framed Yeoman's house.

We grow gorgeous seasonal blooms on our 1 acre site for florists, brides and the general public and we believe strongly in growing as organically and ethically as possible.?

A lot of our energy goes into what you might call restorative sustainability which means our top priorities are looking after the land and soil and sustainable practices such as no use of peat or single use plastics and pesticides. For more of what we do in this regard please see Our Ethos page.

To introduce ourselves - Penny (the Mum) Used to be a flower photographer but soon growing the flowers became as important as the photography. My daughter Laura caught my enthusiasm and Peppermint and Poppies was born. You can still see my photos on 1x.
